Alyson Hannigan has wispy bangs that are very long.  They are kept to the sides and gently cover a small portion of her eyes.

Carrie Underwood Hair Style with Wispy Bangs

Carrie Underwood probably has the best example of wispy bangs around. Her bangs are softly swept from a deep side part to the other side.

If she were to add just a little more bangs in the crown area, these bangs would be classified as a full side-swept bang.

Use a vented brush and blow dryer to direct fringe across the forehead. Add a small amount of pomade wax to create the piecy look. Always use small amounts of pomade to avoid the greasy look.

Create extra height in the crown area by first back-combing small sections of hair and smoothing over the top with just your fingers.

Next, grab the hair in the crown area and pull the hair back into a low ponytail, leaving out the wispy bangs and side fringe for face-flattering effects.
